THIS IS LIFE
Written by Judy McComb

There is nothing that wlove more
Than to sing praise to You Lord
Nothing else makes us come alive
Than to dance before Your throne
All else just fades away when You pour Your love on us
And as we raise our hands, we know this is why we live

This is life – this is the real life
The life You intended us to live
This is life – this is the real life
Spending our time in worship
This is life

We will spend every day we live giving thanks for all we have
Yet when we find You in the secret place
We will gladly lay it all down
We know Your loving kindness is better than our life
So in Your house we’ll sing
There’s no place we’d rather be

This is life – this is the real life
The life You intended us to live
This is life – this is the real life
Spending our time in worship
This is what will count - who we are in You
The honour we bring to Your house
And we will not take time building what will fall
But a Kingdom that will not end
This is life

Hallelujah
Take the praise that’s due Your Name

There is nothing that we love more
Than to sing praise to You

YOUR EYE ON ME
Written by Judy McComb
©2006 Covenant Builders
Based on 2 Chronicles 16:9a

You have got your eye on me
You have got Your hand – it’s holding me
You have got Your eye on me
May You see my heart is solely for You Lord
When You’re looking down on me

Every day I stand at a crossroad
To choose Your tree of life once more
I simply put my trust in the promise
That You take care of those who love Your ways
I pray I’ll always do what You ask me
To never be afraid of man
Oh I won’t walk by what I see
But through Your eyes I’ll live

It’s hard Lord living to be holy
When all around is darkness
Always swimming ‘gainst the tide
I stand strong because I’m undone
To whom else shall I go?
Your words are life I know

BIG GOD
©2006 Covenant Builders.
Written for my nephew Jackson’s dedication

I never thought that I could feel a love
and bond so strong but I do, I do
But let me tell you of a God who made you
with this love and He is, He is
I will try and love you in so many ways
And maybe over time I will meet some of your needs
How I wish I could love like Him

So at the end of your day
When nothing seems OK
And all things around seem uncertain
Remember the day, the day you heard me say -
“Don’t fear - you are loved by a big God”

It hurts to know that you’ll regret mistakes
that you will make but I hope, I hope
But let me tell you of God’s Son who’s perfect
in your place and He died, He died
Nothing is so bad He cannot wash away
Nothing is so hopeless that He can’t build again
I know you can trust in Him
He’s the one who made the earth
He’s a big God
And there is no-one else like Him
He’s a big God
He hears your voice
He knows your name

STILL WAITING
Written by Judy McComb

Everyday is a struggle to patiently wait here
All I want is the bridegroom to come and take me home
I’ll press on and not look back
I hear You calling me
Hope You’ll find my lamp is full but until then …

I’m still waiting for the day of Your return
I’m still waiting on You
I’m still waiting for Your Spirit to consume me
Mostly what I’m waiting for is to look like You

Warring deep within me – Your Spirit and my flesh
I long to do all the good things set aside for me
I must keep my eyes on You
The lover of my heart
I will win this race I’m in but until then …..

All I want is the bridegroom to come and take me home
I will win this race I’m in but until then …..

WE CRY OUT TO YOU
Written by Judy McComb
© 2006 Covenant Builders
A prayer for the persecuted church of Indonesia
When we look at our world Lord
It brings us to our knees
All the pain and injustice
It’s more than some can bare
Who is able to raise them up
Mend their brokenness, light their fire again?
Who’ll restore their lives, meet their loneliness?
There’s no-one – there’s no-one but You

So we cry out to You - our only Saviour
So we cry out to You – our only friend
So we cry out to You – our only healer
You are a faithful God - our only hope
See the blood of the martyrs - rivers never seen
Hear the cries of the voiceless that no-one wants to hear
Who will be there to help them mourn
Hold their hand each day, take them through the night?
Who will wake the West to take up their fight?
There’s no-one – there’s no-one but You
You are their faithful God - their only hope
You are our faithful God - our only hope
When we look at our world Lord
It brings us to our knees

TALK OF ME
Written by Judy McComb
© 2006 Covenant Builders
Based on Deuteronomy 11: 18-28

Right from the start I declared that I would be your God
I’ll love you with unending love and you will be mine
My glory will lead every step that you take
What’s Mine will be yours
Just do the things I ask and hear these words I say –

Talk of My ways when you sit round the table each day
When you drive in the car, when you walk by the way
Talk of Me on your beds when you lie down at night
Let My name be the first on your lips when you rise
Write My ways on your doors, on your gates, on your walls
Let My law fill your heart, your mind and your soul
Just talk of Me
Won’t you talk of Me always

I made you to walk in My ways, be holy as I am
To taste of the goodness in store for those who are true
I’ve set you apart to be righteous and pure
A people of faith
Just do the things I ask and hear these words I say -

Don’t be deceived by those around you
Don’t believe what they believe
Do not be drawn into their ways
It will grieve My heart
Because My ways are higher
My plans are greater than anything you’ve seen
I’m the Lord of all lords, the God above all gods

WEDDING FEAST
Written by Judy McComb
© 2006 Covenant Builders
Based on Revelation 19:7-9

I’m taking up an invitation
To the wedding of the Lamb
The Lion of Judah is His Name
They say that those who come are blessed
For those who’ve chosen to confess
That Jesus is the Saviour of us all

I’m going to move my feet, lift my hands
Look up and worship Jesus
I’m going to move my feet
Lift my hands and sing of all He is
I’m going to move my feet, lift my hands
Look up and worship Jesus
Prepare the wedding feast
For the Bride is waiting

I even know what I will wear
A robe of righteousness so fair
Woven from the righteous acts of saints
We all will gather ‘round the throne
Sing praises to the Lord alone
Let’s start the celebration now

We must go out to the streets
Tell them of the wedding feast
That all are welcome to come
Tell them who has paid the price
No sin too great for Jesus Christ
His Father is calling us home!

ALWAYS ENOUGH
Written by Judy McComb
© 2006 Covenant Builders
Dedicated to Sinces from the Lata Lata people in Indonesia
This is our shared testimony

You are the love of my life
My fighter of fights
The deliverer of my soul
You are the reason I stand
You’re a holder of hands
My Saviour, my Lord, my friend
You are the keeper of secrets I shared in the night
You’re the river of all my joy
Jesus – You’re my enough
Always enough

Sometimes I wonder what it would be like
If all I loved was gone
Would I look who to blame
Turn my face away or simply praise Your name?
I’m learning how faithful
How true and how strong You are when I call
On You I will stand
You’re the rock when around me is all sinking sand

I know that Your eyes are looking to find those
Whose hearts belong to You
You come to be strong
Prove Your love will be as arms to carry me
In want or in need
I’m content to be in Your grace, in Your love
I know I will conquer whatever’s before me
In You I will be free

I DIDN'T KNOW
Written by Judy McComb
©2006 Covenant Builders

People everywhere, all are running scared
For they see who You really are
Darkness all around, there’s shaking underground
I’ve even seen the dead arise
The curtain in the temple was torn in two
For You had said “I’ve come to make things new”
They mockingly called You the King of the Jews
When really You were the King of Kings

I didn’t know that You were the Son of God
I didn’t know that You were the Living Lamb
I didn’t know that my sin drove the nails in Your hands
Took the debt from my life
Opened the door to Paradise
Oh forgive me my Lord
I didn’t know You loved me this much
Loved ones looking on, Your followers are gone
You must have felt so all alone
They gambled for Your robe having whipped You to the bone
You didn’t even say a word
The people had chosen You a death with shame
Yet days before they’d honoured You with praise
They spat and they cursed for You to prove who you were
Yet in love You had cried “Father, forgive them!”

How I wish I had known
You took the debt from my life
Opened the door to Paradise
Oh forgive me my Lord
You’ve given life to my soul
Oh forgive me my Lord
I didn’t know You loved me this much
I didn’t know

WHERE ELSE
Written by Judy McComb
©2006 Covenant Builders

Where else would I rather be than kneeling before You?
Where else would I rather be than here?
Seeking all there is to know of who You are
What’s to behold
I’ll never leave until I see ...

All Your glory and splendour
The wonder of Your throne
Until I hear the angels crying “Blessed One”
I want to grasp how You just called the worlds to be
And yet You want to be with me

Show me Your glory and splendour
The wonder of Your throne
I long to hear the angels crying “Blessed One”
I want to grasp how You just called the worlds to be
And yet You long to lift my head
And then You’ll call me by name
Yes You’ll call me by name
